About Me
Behind The Spanish Studio is Anna Gea, an enthusiastic and passionate Spanish teacher.
Originally from Barcelona and now living in London, Anna holds a Masters degree in Teaching and graduated as a teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language at the prestigious Instituto Cervantes.
With over 10 years of teaching experience, she has guided students of all ages, nationalities and levels (from complete beginners to advanced speakers), tailoring a unique learning journey for each person.
Anna's background as a psychologist gives her a unique edge: she deeply understands the mental obstacles that come with language learning, the fear of making mistakes, the embarrassment of an accent, and she knows how to help you overcome them with confidence.

"My deepest passion is to entertain, educate, and encourage people to be their best selves."
Born and raised in Houston, Texas — the youngest of five siblings — Alicia Amie's innate creativity and curiosity drove her to excel across multiple fields. At 18 she became a professional model while earning her bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Houston.
She later moved to Los Angeles to pursue modeling and acting, traveling internationally to Switzerland, Germany, and France — delivering multilingual presentations in French, German, and English. A career milestone: representing General Motors at both the 2008 Democratic and Republican National Conventions.
